Yvonne - Queen Mom

email

I live in the Severn area with my husband, and we have two grown sons and six grandchildren. I enjoy walking and swimming. I am employed as a school bus driver and a receptionist at Singleton's funeral home. I became interested in Red Hat Society when a few of us girls started to look for some fun. I felt at 57 it was time to do something for me. Five of my friends got together and started our own chapter. We have grown to nine red hatters and three "Pinkie's". We go to Tea Houses, movies, theatre, outdoor actives and other chapter events. I enjoy meeting ladies from other chapters and exchanging ideas. My chapter has given me the honor to be "Queen Mum". I grew up with two brothers, but now it is great to have so many sisters all over the world.

Donna - Baroness of Remembrance & Co-Quee

Hello, my name is Donna Reigle. I am widowed. I have three grown sons and four grandchildren. I am a retired teaching assistant. I collect angels and bells. I enjoy country music. I have lived my entire life within 15 miles of where I was born.

I joined the Red Hatters to have some "crazy" fun and explore new avenues. I have enjoyed meeting new "sisters", and I hope our friendship continues for many years to come. I was never one to wear hats and now I have at least 10 in my wardrobe.

I enjoy going to the tea houses. I have also enjoyed the dinner theatres and admiring all the different red hats that are adorned by my Red Hatter sisters. I would encourage all ladies to become "Red Hatters" and join in the fun.

Brenda - Countess Bling Bling

Hi, I'm Brenda, and I am a 55 year old mother of two wonderful daughters. My first grandchild  arrived in December 2006, and needless to say we are thrilled about him. I am employed at a local credit union.

I joined the Red Hatters to have a fun outlet for the "girlie" stuff my husband does not enjoy (i.e. dinner theatres, musicals, movies, etc.) I also enjoy traveling, reading, and the beach.

Lorraine - Duchess of Recording & Hysterian

Hi, my name is Lorraine, and I was invited to join a Red Hat Chapter and was really excited. I had seen Red Hat Groups and had heard some of the exciting and fun things they were doing, so I was really looking forward to being a part of a Chapter. I enjoy meeting my Red Hat sisters for shopping and lunch, dressing up in my Red Hat regalia, bling bling, rings, and other unique outfits.

I am retired, however I have a part time job at a local catering business. I volunteer at the USO at the BWI airport. I also enjoy traveling, doing crafts, sewing, just relaxing and enjoying my retirement with my friend of many years Murray, my Red Hat partner.

Hi.  I'm JoAnn. I am married to Chuck {family nickname is Bubba!} and we have one son, Tim, who teaches at Chesapeake High School.  Bubba was in the Air Force for over 20 years, so we have travelled all over the world. He is retired now, so we finally settled down in Maryland and love the location. I am an Assistant Branch Manager at a local credit union. I love doing all kinds of crafts and planning parties for my family and friends.

I joined the Red Hatters because even though I've been married to the most wonderful man for 36 years and we do lots together--a girl still has to have fun {with the girls!!}!!!  And because Brenda made it sound so great!!
